The Annual Campaign helps provide membership and program assistance to children, families and seniors as well as raises funds for child care, community service opportunities, camp scholarships, membership, program assistance, and leadership development—ensuring everyone has an opportunity to benefit from YMCA programs, regardless of their ability to pay. The YMCA said that the need in 2014 is expected to be greater than ever.

At the Y, we believe in fostering the care and respect all people need and deserve, by responding to our communities' most critical social needs. The Y is a cause driven organization that empowers children and adults to reach their full potential. With everyone’s help, we can reach our goal and continue to make a positive impact in our communities.

Overall, in 2014, The YMCA hopes to raise $75,000 with 100% of the donations to be used to fund programs at every branch of the YMCA of Washington County.
